Vertuose Culture BlackJet Cookies Pheno #8 (French Cookies/Platinum GSC) 28% thc 1.70% terpenes

Today, I will be trying Vertuose Culture for the first time. They are craft grower based in Boileau ,Quebec.I am trying their BlackJet Cookies Pheno #8 that was pheno hunted by Olivier Levesque-Lepage and Karine Dejardins at Vertuose Culture. The Blackjet Pheno is essentially a French Cookies/Platinum GSC phenotype. I grabbed this 7 gram format via Herbal Dispatch and came in at around 48$ before tax. The dominate terpenes listed on the bag are Caryophyllene, Myrcene, and D-Limonene on Herbal Dispatch site it list the numbers for each dominate terpene. Caryophyllene is 0.51%, Myrcene is 0.39%, Limonene is 0.32%. This bag was packaged March 10 ,2024. These seed genetics are from (T.H Seeds).

Observations:
Opening up my bag I was presented with some nice colorful buds and a mix of a few small buds and medium buds. The buds did come little squished in package a bit. It got a nice mix of different hues of green and some purple to go in with those orange hairs. Very nice cover of tricomes around the buds little dry but has little density to them, which was nice cause it definitely grinded up a bit more the smaller buds I had.

Aroma:

Opening up the bags, I get nice strong aroma coming from the bag . It got heavy earthy notes mix with some spiced doughy notes. In the background, I get notes of the woodsy /fuel combo coming throughout the aroma. It does mention on the bag their is some Black Licorice aroma. Going back and forth through the aroma I do notice something very subtle that could resemble it is subtle sweet,earthy tone at the ending I get mixed with I can describe as herbal/floral which combine together kinda give it remiscent smell of black licorice. It's quite interesting, to say the least, even though it isn't as strong of a note as the other terpenes.

Flavour:

The first taste I get out of vape is interesting taste of herbal notes not long after I get these nice spiced notes mixed, almost peppery . As I continued going, I did get sweet, subtle, doughy taste it quite pleasant and smooth, but it started having a spiced note coming through . It was almost a subtle nutty different from peppery notes earlier. Overall, it was quite nice and a good mix of terpenes in a bong it was just as pleasant and in a joint it was nice and smooth with inhale or exhale .


Effects:

The effects kick in nicely immediately. I'm hit with nice medium/moderate potency. I get focus/energized effects hit in tandem leaving me alert but not stress or have aniexty surprisingly. Not to long after I get uplfiting/happy vibes come around and with those effects I get even more of boost to move around and do things . As about another 15 mins pass I would see the potency elevate to moderate potency and with those happy uplifting vibes still being promient. The energizing vibes start to turn into nice mellow sedating state with the focus high still remaining. Slowly over time the sedation starts giving in leaving you in a relaxed state as more time passes. Making this a versatile strain to get you moving but also eventually leaving you relaxed happy state when everything finishes off. Overall quite impress by the effects of this strain and it ability to give you focus and energy with mood boost and also have good touch of relaxing and sedation too.

Conclusion:

Overall, I my first strain by Vertuose Culture was good experience a very good priced 7 gram via Herbal Dispatch for 48$ before tax. My only complaint is maybe squished buds, but otherwise, I find this strain very helpful effects wise and nice aroma/flavor profile. It personally helped me with anxiety, chronic fatigue, and post concussion symptoms very much . I would recommend this for both low and high tolerance users trying to get day started on good note or just trying to get through the latter half of a day . Low tolerance users, I would say, start small it's quick hitting strain . Also, with its alerting effects, I would even though I didn't get anietxy personally others might differ, but I did not have any issues along those lines. This could be enjoyed as good as early morning or throughout the day before the evening through my personal experience. I would definitely recommend giving them a try . Currently I'm only aware of their French Cookies pheno their growing at this time and in my opinion it's nice well grown strain with even better price point for those looking for effective alerting strain with some sedation with none to little aniexty.

Upon opening the jar all you can see is shining crystals like stars drenching these buds! Beautiful!

Where do I start with this rendition of Durban Poison x OG Kush x? It's simply great.
I don't usually care too much about looks when I buy my bud, but I find myself opening my jar and admiring the cure; the beautiful little sparklybright trichomes and inhaling the complex & loud scent.

Packaging has good amount info including the people who grew it, terp breakdown, where it's grown, how it's cured etc.

Only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because the word "flavour" is spelled wrong in the "About French Cookies" section.

Few things I need to call out first. The packaging saying indica dom , however website and all strain genetics point to platinum cookies a sativa dom strain. What better way to find out then to smoke it, it is in fact sativa, a fairly strong one, and true to the genetics. Second company claims to be all about the Terps , however terp percentages also missing from package. Had to come online here to see 1.7%. Now with all the aside this is beautiful bud , with purple hues , super smooth and tasty to smoke. You can tell they care about their product. Although Not too much nose coming through the bag. Nugs are of a good size. The high is euphoric and very fun. This was very much a treat.
