Assuage 1:3 Suppositories

Cannabis rectal and vaginal suppositories have been used for decades but are only now available on the legal market. Assuage suppositories complies with the quality standards set forth by Health Canada, are formulated using a pharmaceutical-grade suppository base and are tested for potency, sterility, and purity. 

Formulated to deliver 10 mg THC and 30 mg CBD; designed for both rectal and vaginal use. Each package contains 8 individually sealed suppositories. 

Ideal dosage format for patients who:
• Are for looking an alternative dosage format to oral and inhaled cannabis
• Need localized relief
• Cannot take oral cannabis-based products e.g., palliative care, nausea and vomiting, swallowing difficulty.

DIRECTIONS FOR VAGINAL USE

• Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water.
• Unwrap suppository by pulling tabs apart.
• Use a personal lubricant or dip suppository in water to aid in insertion.
• Get into a comfortable position for insertion. Options include lying on your back with your knees slightly bent towards your stomach or standing with your knees bent and feet a few inches apart.
• Gently insert the suppository into the vagina as far as is comfortable. Stop if you experience pain or discomfort.
• Close your legs and sit or lie still for around 15 minutes to allow the suppository to dissolve.
• Wash hands.

DIRECTIONS FOR RECTAL USE

• If possible, empty bowel before use.
• Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water.
• Unwrap suppository by pulling tabs apart.
• Use a personal lubricant or dip suppository in water to aid in insertion.
• Stand with one leg up on a chair or lie on your side with one leg straight and the other bent towards your stomach. 
• Gently insert the suppository past the sphincter and into the rectum tapered end first. This is usually about 1 inch. Stop if you experience pain or discomfort.
• Close your legs and sit or lie still for around 15 minutes to allow the suppository to dissolve.

ADDITION INFORMATION FOR USE

• Suppositories are oil based and should not be used with latex condoms.
• You may want to wear a panty liner to prevent staining of underwear in case of leakage.
• Discontinue use if discomfort or irritation occurs.
• Use immediately after removing from original packaging to maintain
