About Mint Chocolate Chip

Don’t think I need to say much here in terms of quality , this is too notch. Some of the freshest , stickiest most gorgeous buds I have ever came across. Has to be up there with the best in the world. The high on this one was perfect as what to expect from a hybrid , relaxed , elevated.

This one hits hard but has a slight harshness to it. My least favourite of the Golden Spruce strains. Above average stuff for sure but at the price point, I want the tippity top of the shelf and to me, this one falls a tiny bit short.

Good smoke decent size buds burns decent it does go out a lot I guess we’re it’s sticky but other wise no complaints that’s not even a complaint just opinion will and have buy again.

The Golden Spruce tins are incredible. There are so many terpenes that the lid gets terpy oil goodness on the top if I leave it closed for more than a day. Really delicious flower.

Mint Chocolate Chip has been my cultivar of the year, while I’ve tried a lot of things from the legacy to the legal side, this has been a standout. Grown in living soil by the good folks at Sweetgrass. I remember years ago smoking Golden Spruce Romula (Romulan x Afghan) and geeking about it, smoking ounces of it. Stoked to see them available!
Appearance: 9.8/10 - these buds are gorgeous and they hit top marks in moisture content, trim, attractiveness, the buds look insane and my pictures can’t do them justice. Also love to see fully intact trichome heads all over them, a true “hand trim” not a machine tumble to hand finish.
Aroma: 9.9/10 - it smells intoxicatingly good, give me a deep whiff of this alongside some coffee beans first thing in the AM. The exterior has a creamy sweetness that sits atop a diesel funk and wintergreen freshness.
Flavour: 9.9/10 - where it actually shines, in a joint it burns to a light fluffy ash with a grease ring, and it is very smooth but expansive smoke. Aromatic notes translate through strongly and the flavour endures right to the end of the joint.
Effect: 9.9/10 - when I worked at a legacy MOM this would come around and I would be writing the product descriptions and I used to say MCC consumes you whole. This still rings true, you smoke more, you obsess over her, thinking about the next time you’ll smoke her. Leaves me in a great mood and hits me where I need it.
Overall: 9.9/10 Welcome back Golden Spruce, stoked to see what else will be in those cans.
